You choose a comforting movie, and you watch it with your loved one. It’s a low-effort, budget-friendly activity. 

You can get more creative if you want: invite more people, get a projector and do it outside, or prepare a bunch of different snacks. That’s the beauty of cinema: it helps us connect with other people. It’s not just about the artistry, the direction, the soundtrack, or all the technical issues. It’s about the excuse it gives us to spend time with people we love in an easy and relaxed way. There are movies that are so terrible that the critics trash them completely. But maybe they are really funny, or they make us happy, and we have a good time watching them. Cinema is not always about choosing or making a movie that is flawless. It’s about connecting with others around you while disconnecting from the outside world. Whatever movie helps you do that, we support it, no matter how many terrible reviews it has.
