Wes Anderson’s signature style has made him one of the most recognizable filmmakers of the last century. The color, the symmetry, the absolute twee-ness of his works are all trademarks of his thirty-year career. Most recently, Anderson released a trailer for his predictably star-studded new feature, Asteroid City. With a mix of huge names like Tom Hanks and Steve Carrell, and Wes Anderson regulars such as Jason Schwartzman and Scarlett Johansson, it’s sure to be a Hollywood hit. The compelling alien-related story doesn’t hurt, either. 

While we’ve been anxiously waiting for our ticket to Asteroid City, the world has been having a lot of fun with AI. And much to our delight, it seems Instagram user @panoramachannel has been hard at work using Midjourney to mix famous styles like Anderson’s with other popular media, namely the Harry Potter series. These mashups of Wes Anderson aesthetics and our favorite Harry Potter characters are completely on point – and made their way onto our feeds thanks to @mrgreen on Twitter. This may not be the cinematic experience we’re so craving, but the pictures are definitely a fun time.
