Warhammer 40,000 is a miniature wargame that was first released way back in 1987. Using collectable miniature models (often hand-painted by hardcore fans), players role play epic battles between aliens, monsters, and humans of the future. Since its beginnings, Warhammer has gained a cult following that spans many generations. The fact that there are so many Warhammer memes circulating the internet is proof enough that the fanbase has extended to the Millennials and perhaps even Gen Z. Only time will tell.
