I envy those people who are true cat whisperers. No matter how crotchety or scared a kitty is, they somehow manage to get it winding around their legs and purring in a cool five minutes. It’s nothing short of a magic power, and I bet it’s one that many people wish they had. Nobody enjoys the blow to the ego that is having a random cat run away from them in the street.

Much as we would love them to be, our feline friends aren’t always sweet and pettable babies that want us to lavish our affections on them.
