Wife makes husband scold groomsmen for not cutting his long hair before their wedding despite him having long hair since high school: ‘Parker is going to be henpecked throughout his marriage’

Would you care if a man had long hair in your wedding photos?

Personally, I don’t get all the hubbub about wedding photos needing to be perfect. Aren’t they supposed to reflect the day as it was, not some idealized version of it that never existed? Who cares if your brother brought that girl he’s only been seeing for 3 weeks? Who cares if your grandma wore that mini-dress that everyone told her not to wear? Who cares if your cousin thought that your wedding was the perfect place to introduce his new mohawk? Photos are supposed to represent reality. By demanding perfection from everyone, you’re only bound to be disappointed. You might as well lean into the chaos and let everyone be themselves. As long as everyone is respecting you and giving you the attention you deserve, you can’t blame them. Let the photos be what they may.

But not everyone is as, how you say… chill as me. Some people have a very specific vision for their wedding and need everyone to conform to that reality. If they don’t, then their day is ruined. This might be a silly outlook to have on life, but some people have it. In those cases, you have to make your expectations very clear to everyone attending your wedding. You can’t expect people to be able to read your mind. You have to tell them what you want and make sure your vision gets executed. That’s what this bride failed to do.
