All married couples have slightly different ideas of what the ideal marriage looks like. However, there are usually some basic similarities in what most deem important. One principle that most could agree on is trust. A serious relationship is not in a good place if two people feel like they can’t have faith in one another.
Nonetheless, many marriages have faced issues because of excessive paranoia. In a world where cheating and lying seem to be all-too-common behaviors, it’s easy for a romantic partner to get carried away with ideas of what their partner does and thinks when they’re not around. Sometimes this comes from past bad experiences, and other times, it is an attempt at controlling them. Neither are straightforward to deal with, and if things go too far, there can be no choice but to end the relationship. When trust is broken, it cannot necessarily ever come back.
