Now that I’m in my mid-thirties, it’s safe to say that I have been to a lot of weddings. I managed to get a little two year break because of Covid-19, but the invitations have started to pour in, and my bank account is getting pretty scared. While some of the weddings I’ve been to got a little sloppy, thanks to bridezillas and open bars, nothing too dramatic has happened at any of the unions I’ve attended. It’s always seemed to me that the whole «Speak now or forever hold your peace» line was some kind of formality. But apparently I was very wrong.
