It’s a pretty big achievement that Facebook still exists today. It’s gone through so many different looks, reinventions, and scandals that a lesser platform would have buckled under the weight of it all by now. Yet, it lumbers on, the big old granddaddy of all the other social medias that are still knocking about this here humble internet. Like any elder statesman, it has its quirks; it’s full of weirdos, and drama of the strangest kind. 

This could be said of anywhere on the internet, of course. Still, Facebook does it in a way that few other places can replicate. It attracts a lot of old people, for one, and that completely changes the vibe. It is also one of the first places where we could be authentically deranged with our identities automatically detached. It can make for some mighty strange posting, as many of the examples below dramatically demonstrate.
