When you have seen enough social media platforms rise, fall, and rise again, it’s inevitable that there comes a point when you get sick of all that posting. Is really that entertaining, or indeed necessary? 

At times like these, we have to resist the urge to turn away from our screens. Instead, we need to inject a dose of novelty back into the whole process. One of the best ways to do this is by treading over old ground. We get all the dubious comfort of the old times, but also all the amusement of doing something that seems unusual. 

Facebook has become a place like this for many of us. It hosts its fair share of insanity and awful discourse, but it gives it a slightly different flavor to somewhere like TikTok or Twitter. We’re here to appreciate that, whatever form it comes in, until the next time we get bored.
