We’ve been sitting here for the last fifteen minutes trying to debate what could possibly be worse than an awkward blind, first date…and we’ve got nothing. You’re just waiting for the initial awkwardness to fade, but it never does…and suddenly your watch becomes the most eye-catching thing you’ve seen all day. We always say the right person is not meant to make one feel nervous, but calm. So when you meet someone who makes you feel uneasy, it’s often best advised to trust your instincts!

This woman met up with a man she met online, and within the first 5 minutes of meeting, she was already planning her exit strategy. Not necessarily because he was threatening as such, but because from the second he arrived, he was agitated, refused to order anything, and proved to her that chivalry is very much a thing of the past. So she decided that, despite having him drive a long way for their date, she was going to be honest about her feelings. Or in this case, not feelings.
