Hosting Christmas can be equally wonderful as it can be difficult. The joy of having everyone together also requires catering to everyone’s unique needs. And as you all know, our favorite types of families on here are often the loudest, messiest, and most drama-packed…So perch yourself up on the couch, get a cup of warm cocoa, and let’s dissect yet another Christmas family drama…because just like that cocoa, it’s piping… 

This adult daughter couldn’t wait, for it was finally the year she was hosting Christmas, and the first with both her and her partner’s families! What could go wrong? Let’s start with the accommodation. Her parents assumed they would be taking the one and only guest bedroom as they loved to pair Christmas nights with a few glasses of red, and lived 50km away…However, what they did not expect was for the whole house to be ‘fully-booked’ by her partner’s family, leaving them with nowhere to stay but their own beds…and they were not happy with this arrangement!
