Having a career that allows you to take multiple weeks off at a time is a blessing. A lot of us glued to our computer screens during our lunch breaks right now wish we were on the white sandy beaches of Mykonos or in the middle of the hustle-and-bustle city of Paris, chowing down on a baguette.
That’s not how the world works, as I’m sure you know, so it’s only right for those lucky enough to have the time and money to travel while they can. There is nothing as irreplaceable as seeing all the sights this world has to offer.
What do you do when you’re away from your home for weeks at a time? Well, if you don’t have a pet and a stellar alarm system, then you don’t need to do anything. If your sibling insists that they and their family move in while you’re away, you shoo them away. Expeditiously. Double points if they expect you to be okay with them banishing all of your belongings to the dusty garage. Oh, and they don’t want to pay you for it either.
