‘You’re doing the best you can mom and dad!’: A family gathering of parenting laughs for witty mothers and fathers (August 15, 2026)

Another rough week, Mom and Dad?

It’s okay; you’re not the only ones! And guess what? Your kids appreciate it. Even if they gave you a hard time, in the long run, they appreciate every ounce of love and energy you are giving them. Whether you have a tiny lil squishy baby or a fiery teenager who acts like they know everything, you are going to survive it. In fact, you are going to do more than just survive it, you are going to look back on it and feel love and enjoy every second you get with your lil clones.

Personally, I was quite the terrifying teenager. If I ran into me on the street today, as a 30-something-year-old, I would cross to the other side. When I think back on everything my parents had to go through with me, I cringe. I loved pushing the boundaries and roping strangers into my immature antics. And guess what? I was actually never grounded, I was never made to feel afraid to tell my parents anything, and now I am grown and thriving. In fact, the second I moved out at 18, I got my life together. I knew I didn’t have my parents to be my crutch anymore. I had to be an adult.

That being said, I can still always turn to my parents, and I still feel very loved. Now, instead of leaning into being treated like a rebellious child, I’m trying my best to get them to see that they actually raised a very independent woman with a great head on their shoulders.

So these memes are for parents and the parents who raised good future parents. You deserve all the joy and laughter!
