How was tucking the kids in?

Sometimes it’s time to put the kids to bed when they tell you it’s time for bed. That can either mean two hours before their usual bedtime or two hours after. As a parent, you can fight it and try to get them to do what you want, but who is that really helping? Everyone just ends up not having a good time. Sometimes you just have to bend to their ways and go with the flow. Parenting is all about going with the flow. It’s just your job to make sure nobody gets hurt along the way. 

In order to do that, you have to stay whimsical and humorous. You can’t be serious all the time! That’s exhausting and sad. You want your kids to know that life is full of joy, and you can show them that by laughing around them as much as possible. You can scroll through memes in order to do that! Let your kids know you love them by loving life with them. It’s okay if you’re laughing at them and not with them, they’re too little to understand anyway. Just have a good time with them and enjoy being a parent. You’re doing great!
