One of the greatest things about spending time on the internet is the way in which it gives you an insight into other people’s lives that you would not otherwise have. It is perhaps the most accessible way to remind ourselves how simultaneously big and small the world is, with all these odd scenarios that happen, and all the relatable common ground that even very different people share. 

Needless to say, this can also be very amusing to have this peek behind the curtain of the interior life of so many. We don’t always have the full story, but the tidbits that we do get can only make whatever situation being shared with us even more interesting. The best parts of social media are those that tell part of a story, especially if it appears to be aimed at somebody we don’t know. It is almost like hearing some juicy gossip.
