Is the work getting done? Okay then, why does it matter what time your employee got there? They did the work, didn’t they?? Sounds more like a «trying to also suck the soul out of our employees by getting something they can never get back: their precious time» kind of atmosphere to us… If you’re an employee getting things done, but always late, then stand tall. Don’t let your toxic manager or boss give you crap for being half an hour late because you needed a coffee. If they want good work done, then they should allow you 30 extra minutes on your way to work to get that good good caffeine, not that crap they have in the shared office kitchen. Like, why is your boss so obsessed with you anyways? Life will always come first in the list of priorities, not work.
