Green has a reputation for being a calming color, but we like to think that it has a range beyond being the shade they paint doctors’ waiting rooms to reduce the chance of a patient freakout. It is also the color of cartoon acid (glamorous! dangerous!) and vomit (gross). It is the color chosen to represent this particular website, and I think it can be argued that this place can be anything but calm. And, yes, it is the color that immediately comes to mind for most of us when we think about nature, and while the great outdoors can relax us, it can also provoke a whole range of other emotions.

The variety of garden-hued memes and posts that we can find here mostly invoke the more peaceful qualities of green, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t appreciate its true scope. Let the real green fans sit on that while they take a scroll below.
