Design is incredibly important, and you know that if you’ve ever lived in a house where you could not stand the decor. Maybe it was full of tchotchkes and the thin layer of dust, and you’re a minimalist. Or maybe it was all cold concrete and steel beams, and you missed the warmth of a real home. We all have our own design preferences, and we’re allowed to exercise them. But sometimes we don’t get that luxury. Sometimes we grow up in a house that we hate, and the minute that we get our own space, we do the exact opposite. 

You know this if you are a millennial who grew up in a Tuscan rooster kitchen and then immediately traded it for gray. This is all to say that design can make us feel things. Certain designs can make us feel warm and welcome, while others make us feel scared and nervous. These designs in this list, however, are of a different class. These designs baffle us.
