Do you ever wish you could go back in time and correct your mistakes? There are plenty of movies that explore this idea of being able to turn back the clock and call a redo on your life. It’s a tempting notion. Maybe there are times when you feel like you should’ve gone left when you went right. That you should’ve given that person your phone number instead of shrinking away in fear. You should’ve chosen that college a little farther away from home instead of playing it safe. 

You might think that all of these decisions add up to your life as it stands now. And you would be right. But the problem is, if you went back and changed one of those things, everything would be different today. The whole «butterfly flaps its wings» effect. So I think most of us who know better would actually choose to stay on our current path. Which is lucky because, as far as I know, there are no actual time-travel devices available to the public. But we can time-travel in different ways. Memes are one of them.
