Everyone has a different opinion about what kind of exercise you should do. Powerlifters say everyone should lift as heavy of weights as they possibly can, working up to be able to lift a truck off of a child in need. Yogis say that keeping your muscles lean and limber is the key to good health, and that a headstand will probably help too. Calisthenics gurus claim that all you need to achieve your ideal form is well, your body. Runners emphasize speed, gymnasts emphasize strength and flexibility, and basketballers show you how to make the most of being tall. And some of us just say whatever gets you off the couch is probably what you should be doing.
We all have our preferred methods of exercise, and whatever floats your boat floats your boat. The important thing is that we all take care of ourselves, and try to tune out all the chatter of opinions so we can truly focus on the voices in our own heads.
