It’s January, and the snow and ice outside make me feel like I’m living on a different planet. I’m slip-sliding around on the pavement feeling like I have moon shoes on. If only I could escape to a realm outside of earth. If I had my pick of the planets, I think I’d pick Venus, just because it looks pretty from the outside and it’s the hottest planet in our solar system and I desperately need to escape the cold. 

Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a world where we could hop from planet to planet, protected in some sort of super suit, able to explore and bop around? I feel like we should be investing more research into this. But in the meantime, I suppose we have movies and TV shows that show us what’s possible. And we have memes about those movies and TV shows. Hurrah.
