Guys… I kind of wish I would get abducted by an alien. Not in a freaky way where they would do harm unto me, but in a fun way. I’d love to see what life was like on their planet if they wore clothes, what language they spoke, how they greeted each other, and how their cities were built. It’s kind of the most extreme version of traveling. People travel because they want to get to know a new culture up close. They want new experiences with new people in new places. But what happens when you’ve already been to Rome? The next logical step is Mars. 

I guess this is why we have sci-fi movies and television shows. They let us explore those parts unknown without having to leave our couch. This way there’s no real danger of intergalactic space wars or alien diseases. The only danger is that we will eat too much popcorn and it will make our tummies hurt.
