Some people are just cool. They just know how to dress, what music to listen to, and what to say. They just drip coolness. The rest of us usually are just trying to cop their swag. But these people aren’t worried about what other people think of them. They march to the beat of their own drum and don’t give a flying flea what anyone has to say about it. These are the people who set trends. 

Just like in the movie Mean Girls, when Cady and Janis cut out holes in Regina George’s tank top trying to knock her down a peg, and she just wears it anyways and starts a new trend in the process. If you rock anything with a certain level of confidence, the world is your oyster. This attitude is key to being a hep cat… if you will. Hep cats don’t follow trends, they start them.
