Being a Midwesterner in February begs the question, what the heck do you do with your time, seeing as you’re stuck inside for most of it? Unless you want to put on mittens, a scarf, and a hat every day just to walk from your car to the post office, odds are you’ve become accustomed to living indoors. You don’t mind a night in with some microwave popcorn and the newest episode of Severance. You’re well acquainted with the curves of your own couch, and you don’t mind curling up on it for hours at a time. You could spend all day looking out your window, watching the snowfall. 

That is, unless you’re a different kind of Midwesterner, and you brave the outdoors like a madman. You’re out there snow-blowing, snow mobile-ing, building snowmen, and generally causing a ruckus. And if that’s you, I commend you. We need that type of person to keep up our Midwest ethos.
