Where is the 2026 parenting guide? There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of «guides» out there that tell new moms and dads exactly how they should be parenting these days. With «updated» tactics and «new» rules. Then, there are the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and parenting friends who also try to tell you how to raise your own kids. However, the fact of the matter is that parenting is unique to every family, and there is no one right way.
We all know the basic rules of parenting, which are to do your best, love your child, and make sure they’re safe. Other than that, parents are on their own, and that’s how it should be, because it is a unique experience for every parent. One child is not going to have the same needs and guidance as another. So, if you are feeling like a failure as a parent, stop it! You are doing your best, you love your child with all of your heart, and they are safe. You are actually doing amazingly!

If their children weren’t perfect, it would often end in no contact once the kids were grown. So, that mindset didn’t turn out too well; now did it?… Millennials, however, are changing the tide.
