Working from home used to be reserved for the Carrie Bradshaws of the world. The freelancers, the novelists, the homeschoolers, the stay-at-home parents. Now so many of us work from home that it’s actually deeply affecting the economy. Wonder what happened in the last 5 years that made that possible? Not worth investigating. All that matters is that we’re cracking open our laptops in bed and saving so much time not commuting.
Some great things about working from home: You can do your laundry during the day (especially useful if you’re working with a shared laundry room). You can make your own lunch and not have to stick it in the fridge for hours before you have to eat it at your desk. Your dog can sit in your lap while you take meetings. And you can wear pajamas if you so choose. All of these things make it worth it.
