Being a Star Wars fan is no fun unless you get to interact with other Star Wars fans. It’s like the old adage, «If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?» We have no definitive way to know. If you’re a Star Wars fan with nobody to talk to but the walls, then are you even a Star Wars fan? Or are you just a person who watched some movies? 

Community is always the answer, especially when it comes to fandom. In fact, there is no fandom without it. We need other people to talk about our favorite characters with. We need other folks to join the message boards where we dissect every plot hole with a depth that rivals those with a Master’s degree in English. We need more nerds to make memes so we can scroll through them and laugh.
