There’s something so wrong about how the spring semester is structured for nearly all K-12 schools. In college, the fall and spring semesters are the exact same length: 4 months. In K-12, the second semester is so much longer that by the last 4 weeks, everyone in the school is going nuts. After Thanksgiving break, you only have about 3 weeks until you have another extended period of rest. In high, middle, and elementary school, there is at least a month and a half, if not more (at my school, it was two and a half months) between the end of spring break and the beginning of summer vacation, and that is too much time for my liking. 

As teachers, you have to take the wins that you can. If you only have a month until spring break and are counting down the days, these teacher memes might ring true.
