Friends are a vital part of life, but not everyone seems to see it that way. As we get further into adulthood, we have an unfortunate tendency to forget about friendship as we get deeper into romance, family, or even just our jobs. While all of these are important for our well-being in one way or another, we can’t forget that close platonic relationships are important to our happiness as well. 

As with any kind of personal bond, having friends isn’t always plain sailing. However, when we surround ourselves with the right people the benefits far outweigh the hard times. True friendship is always worth celebrating in ways both great and small. A batch of memes on the subject might be on the more humble end of the spectrum, but they still have the capacity to make you or someone you care about smile (if they’re that way inclined, of course).
