It’s so easy to be drawn to the aesthetic of wizarding. It doesn’t matter if you usually wear Oscar De La Renta gowns or cargo shorts; wizard robes are superior to all other silhouettes, colors, and styles of clothes. They are extremely comfortable, allowing you to wear whatever you want under them. They can be dressed up or dressed down, a simple frock made out of a humble burlap sack, or an elaborate velvet monstrosity with a train so long, you lose your orb inside of it. It’s easy to imagine yourself as the most iconic rich old wizard in the world, but I’m sure a lot of wizard-types in the middle ages were just aging academics who didn’t have a beard and long hair because they liked it, but because they were too immersed in their studies to prioritize any grooming. Whoever created the wizard look, I bow to thee.
