Fast food is the epitome of convenience. It’s hard to resist the sudden urge for McNuggets or a Chick-fil-A sandwich when you’re short on time and craving something easy. Sure, you could save money by cooking at home, but where’s the fun in that? Plus, it’s only, like, $8 right? That’s at least what I tell myself when I’m looking for any sort of convincing to head to the nearest drive thru. There’s something about the greasy, salty, and oh-so-delicious taste of fast food that just hits differently. And don’t even get me started on the drinks. Who can resist the refreshing fizz of a McDonald’s Sprite or the creamy goodness of a Wendy’s Frosty? It’s like they sprinkle magic pixie dust on everything they serve. We all know that fast food is bad for us. And yet, we still find ourselves in the drive-thru line, ordering up a storm. After all, life is short, and sometimes you just need a little bit of junk food to make it all better.
