Introverts don’t know how to act when someone starts crying around them. Regardless of the reason—whether it’s the sad part of a movie, a friend processing a breakup, or seeing a stranger fight the pain of a bug in their eye—a crying person will ALWAYS be unattended if introverts surround them. It’s not that introverted people aren’t empathetic, trust me, we see your struggle and wish we could help. Comforting someone emotionally is just simply not a skill that introverted people possess.
