Some designs speak to us, and some do not. It’s all a matter of your own personal taste. Maybe you grew up in a very 90s Tuscan kitchen, full of rooster knick-knacks, and now your kitchen is the exact opposite, full of millennial gray and clean lines. Or maybe you grew up in a minimalist icebox, and now you probably display every tchotchke you picked up throughout your life. Not to say that whatever your design since now is a reaction to the way you grew up, but we often crave the things that we lacked. However you got there, what matters is that you have a sense of what you like. 

Or maybe you’re just one of those people who will let your roommate decide all of the decor because you really don’t care. But if you’re a person who cares about design, you probably care about it a lot. You want your space to reflect the way you feel about the world, and you want to be comfortable in it. These designs, however, are not here to make anybody comfortable. They wound up on this list because something went very wrong.
