A great thing about working in an office, if your office allows it, is office dogs. Office dogs are dogs that get to hang out in your place of work because their owner works there. They stroll around between the desks like they own the place, and you know what? As they should. They are the most important beings in the office. Sure, they’re not contributing to shareholder value, but they are contributing to the mental health of the employees, which matters just as much. Dogs can make something as potentially dreary as going into the office into something to look forward to. 

As long as there are ears to scratch and a wagging tail to look at, it makes the whole place better. And if you work from home, then you might have a full-time office dog. Lucky you, he’s still there when you log off. For the rest of us, our non-dog time can be filled in with dog memes.
