I used to think that rotting in bed was just a colloquial phrase, but apparently, it’s a phenomenon that’s gone viral on social media in the past year. Bed rotting is, according to Wikipedia,

I know what it means to rot in bed, and I support any of you who are doing it presently. It’s Saturday morning, for crying out loud! Why should we be up and running around like chickens with our heads cut off when we can enjoy the comforts of the bed?
