It’s difficult to find «the perfect fit» for anything in your life. The perfect partner probably doesn’t exist in the form that you think they will. No shoe will ever be perfectly tailored to your foot unless you invest in having it custom-made by a fairy godmother. There’s something wrong with every job you’ll ever work, every house you’ll ever live in, and every day you’ll ever live. With that being said, we manage to find partners that feel like the perfect fit, shoes that let us do everything we want to do athletically, and jobs that fulfill us. We don’t notice when things aren’t the perfect fit, because nothing really is. We are constantly working towards a life where everything feels as perfect as it possibly can, because if it were all perfect from the jump, there would be nothing worth working towards. We’d all just be sitting around, content and bored.
