I’ve heard people say that not everyone has an inner monologue- that some folks walk around without a little voice in their heads telling them «you really shouldn’t have had that second cup of coffee.» I wonder if those people get more done. I know everyone has thoughts, I’m no dummy (as far as I can tell), but it’s wild to me that some of us can’t hear a crystal-clear little voice echoing in our craniums. Sometimes my inner voice sounds like my own, sometimes it’s Dua Lipa’s catchy hooks rattling around in my skull, sometimes it’s Jon Hamm’s, hushing me to sleep. 

Memes are classically a visual format, but sometimes a picture speaks 1000 words. Or 1000 songs. 1000 ditties? This gorgeous list of memes on this gorgeous day does me the favor of overriding my usual inner-droning and replacing it with something fun and funny that I can’t help but hear.
