I wish that the Willam Belli use of the word «nurse» had caught on in common parlance, but if it hasn’t by now, I don’t think it ever will. If you are unfamiliar, during RuPaul’s Drag Race season 4, contestant Willam would walk by fellow queen Jiggly Caliente and say «nurse» out of context. The reason? According to Willam, «She needs help, and nurses help people.» It’s one of those shady things that a mean girl in middle school would come up with, yet it reeks of some level of brilliance. It only really works if the person you’re calling «nurse» can’t comprehend the nature of the insult, so maybe we should keep it under wraps. 

Unfortunately, that insult is way less effective if you are actually a nurse. You can be a nurse and call people nurse, but you can enjoy these nurse memes much more than the non-nurses.
