The Star Wars fandom is one of those fandoms that encapsulates both the casual, mainstream enjoyer and the knee-deep, super-dedicated lore experts. Sure, most fandoms have both poles of this spectrum, but Star Wars especially does. Since there are so many people who love it, and there is so much material to work with, you end up with varying levels of nerdiness within the fandom.
