Meditation. Mindfulness. Therapy. They all had a good run, but when it comes to creating inner peace from the turmoil of our emotions nothing is more successful than consuming a load of memes. While some might call it an addiction, others have reached enlightenment and realized the only tonic to existing in this fraught, unhappy world is looking at endless dumb little pictures until our eyes stop working. When the going gets tough, the tough look at memes, because everybody needs a little harmless escapism now and then.
