‘Stop being so insecure, nobody is thinking about you as much as you think’: Men in their 40s give advice to men in their 20s

Whether you admit it or not, we all want somebody smarter and more experienced than us to impart wisdom to us. It doesn’t come in the form of a wizard man appearing at the foot of your bed at night to warn you of something grave. It’s usually a much more literary manner of imparting knowledge, like reading the Bible or reading ’10 Ways You Can Be a Smart Rich Man That Everyone Likes.’ Books like the one I just made up can be helpful at giving self-help tips, but they are often so generic that you might not get much from them if you’re trying to solve a specific problem. If you’re a young guy looking for concise general advice from slightly older guys but not so old that they can’t remember what it’s like to be a young guy, you’ve come to the right place. This list has great advice that you could probably get from an airport book, but it won’t set you back $26.99.
