Moving places isn’t easy. Besides the obvious packing up your entire life, the mental stress of going through everything you own and deciding if it’s worth keeping is the worst. Why am I up until 2 AM reading my middle school diary when I should be making sure my glassware is wrapped in bubble wrap? Who knows. That’s the power of nostalgia, folks.

If you grew up moving from place to place, you might be used to moving already. It’s a matter of actually checking things off of your to-do list. Seems simple, right? Well, I’ve never moved my entire life to a new place, and I’m about to this week. Have I started packing? No. That’s a night-before issue. Don’t judge. The mental anguish is mine and mine alone!

Settling into a new place is hard when you can’t figure out how to set up the wifi router and your new neighbors keep stumbling in to introduce themselves. How do you let someone know you’re an introvert without really telling them? Beats me. Anywho, I should probably start packing and if you’re moving soon, you should too!
