If there’s one thing I’m going to take from my childhood media consumption it’s the phrase «sweet niblets.» If you don’t remember, it’s Hannah/Miley’s awesome catchphrase from the television program Hannah Montana. It’s an exclamation you say when something is shocking, surprising, or otherwise catches you off guard. It’s a really useful one and I suggest that you employ it. It’s a lot better than saying «geez» or «good golly» plus it connects you to one of the greatest TV shows of all time.
So many TV shows have given us words and phrases we’ve completely adopted into our lexicon. We got «double dipping» and «yadda yadda yadda» from Seinfeld. We got «Did I do that?» from Family Matters and we got «You got it dude» from Full House. These catchphrases seep into our every day and it would be hard as heck to get rid of them. So we should just embrace them.
