Much as the idea of an internet where everybody is nice to each other and holds hands and lives in harmony may be, the reality is that it is unlikely to happen. It is a place too full of the combative, the annoying, and the miserable for that to ever happen in the average lifetime. Still, for all that is horrible that can be found on the World Wide Web, we love it nonetheless. 

We especially love it when it shows us stuff that we find entertaining or funny, as can be found in the joys of meme culture. Just like any other pillar of the internet as we know it, it is not without its many controversies, but for the most part, it makes up for it in the myriad ways that it alleviates our boredom every day. Ultimately, that is what we prize over any lack of argument.
