One of the scariest parts of becoming a parent is that it involves so many factors that can’t be controlled. Those who have a very fixed idea of what it is going to be like are often in for a surprise, especially if they are wearing rose-tinted glasses. The truth is that a baby is just as much of a human being as any adult, and all of them will have different temperaments, issues, and likes and dislikes as a result. 

Parenting certainly influences how a baby acts, but there is a lot that can’t be accounted for just by applying the right child-rearing technique. For example, almost all parents would like nothing more than a child who sleeps well from an early age, but many struggle to make that a reality, no matter how hard they try. While it is important to make an effort when raising kids, it can’t be expected that this will magically solve every single issue.
