It’s a truth universally acknowledged that in every American town, there is a group of teenagers who hang out in the 7-Eleven (or equivalent convenience store) parking lot every weekend. It’s a rule of nature. Just how lions are the king of the food chain and monkeys do monkey business, teenagers are going to loiter. It’s in their DNA. They want to sit around someone’s car, or bike, shooting the breeze and getting nothing done. Maybe they’ll pull some pranks involving a shopping cart and a string of firecrackers.
Maybe they’ll hit up Jake’s older brother to see if he can bring his camcorder so they can film said pranks and upload them to a YouTube channel with the title «Crazyyyyy Pranks with Da Bois.» It’s just what they are going to do. And if you don’t know a group of people like this, I hate to break it to you: it’s you.
