Cooking means many different things to different people. For some, it’s a passion or even a career; for others, it’s something that somebody else does so they don’t go hungry. Others still see it as a mostly annoying but necessary chore if they want to get fed, and some are a mixture of all of the above. The one thing that unites everyone with cooking is that they rely on it, in one way or another. 

It’s no wonder that food and the ways in which we prepare it inspires so many memes. Both those who eat to live and live to eat have strong opinions on their cooking preferences, and when things go wrong it can also be pretty funny (if usually inedible).
