Between «head empty», «smooth brain», and our last two brain cells, you would be forgiven for thinking those of us who spend a lot of time looking at memes are not the sharpest tools in the shed. Admittedly, it sometimes feels like that, but all those different bits of wit and humor have to come from somewhere where we’ve got some working synapses. Memes are always evolving, and some of that feeling of being stupid can come from how hard it is to keep track (if you even want to). Most of the time, the best we can do is make the most of what comes up on our timelines and newsfeeds, and try to enjoy the moment while it lasts. You could be at a loose end or have a to-do list as long as your arm to complete, but at least the memes are here to give you something more fun to think about.
