November is one of those months that tends to rank pretty low in the grand ranking of every month of the year for most people. It’s the calendar equivalent of a damp, dark corner somewhere, long past the charm of early autumn and edging closer to the chill of winter. The one highlight is that it wraps up with Thanksgiving, but for many, that holiday brings as many family arguments as it does tasty dishes. And, of course, the hours of sunlight are only decreasing the entire time.

With all of this gloom to contend with, there’s really only one thing to do: retreat to the comforting and constant glow of online entertainment. Thankfully, the internet delivers, and the memes are ready to ease our souls. Someday, we’ll have to stop blaming our existential crises on the weather, but that day isn’t today. For now, we enjoy using our screens as a preventative SAD lamp.
