Back when I was a kid, my parents believed that if I sat at the dinner table and had my elbow set right next to my place, that I would be banished from any future workplace I might find after they saw how I dared position myself as I ate. What the two have to do with one another, I will never know, but my parents were like that… overly nervous and skittish about the past, present, and future. I am sure that a lot of you may have similar experiences. Has anyone ever sent you to manners school? Because those places are super weird. No leaning back! No chewing with your mouth open! No eating with the wrong fork!
